Jessie Colbert

Jessie Colbert is the Founder and Executive Director of the Mass. PPD Fund, a new foundation launching in 2019 to raise awareness of perinatal mental health challenges in Massachusetts, and to help get new parents the help they need. She is currently the Assistant Development Director for MassBudget, a leading progressive state think tank addressing budget, tax, and economic policy issues, particularly as they impact lower income residents. Ms. Colbert was the first Director of the Ellen Story Commission on Postpartum Depression (2010-2014), and helped secure support for a Community Health Center PPD pilot program and MCPAP for Moms, among other initiatives. Jessie’s other prior experience includes corporate and foundation fundraising at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, and policy and administrative work as the Legislative Aide to Rep. Story. Ms. Colbert serves as a Commissioner on the Ellen Story Commission on Postpartum Depression, and as the Board Secretary for the Holy Name Parish School Home and School Association. She lives in Jamaica Plain with her husband and three children.
