Karen Garber

Karen Garber, LICSW CEIS IMH-C, trained as a psychologist in her native country of Venezuela and, since immigrating to the United States over twenty-five years ago, has dedicated herself to working to support families and their young children in Massachusetts. For the past six years, she has served as Project Director for Early Connections/Conexiones Tempranas, a program of the Center for Early Relationship Support at Jewish Family & Children’s Service, committing herself to supporting families impacted by poverty, addiction, and immigration trauma. Since 2020, she also has provided private psychotherapeutic services to women and non-binary individuals, with a particular focus on perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. Additionally, Ms. Garber volunteers her time and bilingual language skills to Postpartum Support International’s Spanish language warm line.
