Senator Bruce Tarr has been serving as the state senator for the First Essex and Middlesex District since 1995 and before that was a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives from 1991-1994. He is a graduate of Gloucester High School, Suffolk University School of Management, and Suffolk University Law School.
